Drama Program

For most of the past 15 years, Presentation High School has typically mounted two formal stage productions each year--a musical and a play. Since the expansion of our theater program, and the opening of our 200-seat Valenzuela Theater, we have added several other shows to the mix. Our student-run chapter of the International Thespian Society staged a variety show called SnipITS in the fall, as well as a pair of plays during the spring. We are proud that our Fall 2005 production of Singin' in the Rain was one of a handful of musicals nominated for "best high school production of the year" by American Musical Theater of San Jose's High School Honors Program. Our choral group and dance team also performed throughout the year, and our TADA! booster group is working on yet another fundraiser revue to entertain you in January 2008. Finally, our summer arts program, PresRep (formerly CAP), works with younger students as well as high-schoolers in producing a musical during the month of July.
