Math and Science Academy

The United States has a crisis in the number and quality of mathematicians, scientists, and engineers graduating from its colleges and universities. There is great need to promote the study in the subjects and disciplines that will close this gap. Too much work from our economy is going offshore, since our own country cannot meet the need for adequately trained personnel.

The Math and Science Academy has been established as a co-curricular program to motivate student interest in mathematics, science, engineering, medical and dental professions, and the allied health sciences, with the goal of helping today’s students better meet the challenges of the 21st century.
